Service and Support Administration
The Service and Support Administration (SSA) Department of the Pike County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides services to more than 296 children and adults in Pike County. Anyone who is three years and older who is eligible for county board services may request services from the SSA Department. The SSA Department supports individuals in determining and pursuing life goals by providing coordination across all life areas and across all systems. Capital Housing The Capital Housing Program offers affordable housing options for people with disabilities. These houses are purchased with funding from the Ohio Department of DD and are located in a variety of neighborhoods in the community. Residential Services
Pike County offers residential options for individuals with a developmental disability. These options are all designed to help people with disabilities live in homes of their choice. These homes must be financially affordable and meet the health and safety needs of the person. Currently, there are two waiver programs available through the County Board of DD to help support individuals in their community homes. Waiver Services: Individual Options Waiver provides assistance for individuals to live successfully in their own home, family home, alone, or shared housemates. Services include cooking, cleaning, personal, care, transportation, and more. Level 1 Waiver provides limited services to assist individual to remain living with family and increased respite services for the family. For more information contact 740-947-8470. |
