Sheltered Employment

We provide contract services that meet your business requirements including training and supervision of individuals who are employed through PCBDD. Businesses contract with PCBDD to free up their own employees and facilities for other more difficult work. Benefits for Employer: production demands, good source of temporary labor, and turn around time that meets your needs. Benefits for Employees: accepting constructive criticism, how to positively work with others, and learning specific work skills.

Supported Employment
Our Supported Employment Services can be a bridge for our employees between the sheltered workshops and community employment. The PCBDD help individuals find work outside the sheltered workshop environment. Through Supported Employment, area businesses are contacted and jobs are acquired for individuals eligible for DD services. Through ongoing support these individuals are trained and eventually employed directly by the business.
